Socio­lo­gist. She gra­dua­ted from Vil­ni­us Uni­ver­si­ty. She is rese­arch fel­low of the Lithua­ni­an Insti­tu­te of Phi­lo­so­phy and Socio­lo­gy and sin­ce 1990 focu­ses her work on issues of coll­ec­ti­ve memo­ry and his­to­ri­cal consciousness.
