Franciszek Ryszka

Pro­fes­sor of Poli­ti­cal Theo­ry at the Uni­ver­si­ty of War­saw. He was Visi­ting Pro­fes­sor in Saar­brü­cken (Ger­ma­ny) and Direc­teur d’Etu­des at the Eco­le des Hau­tes Etu­des en Sci­en­ces Socia­les, Paris. He has published 17 books and num­e­rous artic­les. He is mem­ber of the Polish Aca­de­my of Sciences.

Asso­cia­te Pro­fes­sor of Poli­ti­cal Socio­lo­gy at War­saw Uni­ver­si­ty sin­ce 1996. He spe­cia­li­zes in poli­ti­cal socio­lo­gy focu­sing on poli­ti­cal cul­tu­re, stu­dents’ aspi­ra­ti­ons and atti­tu­des and dyna­mics of poli­ti­cal sys­tems; he has published seve­ral books and is a mem­ber of the Inter­na­tio­nal Socio­lo­gi­cal Asso­cia­ti­on (ISA) and the Euro­pean Asso­cia­ti­on for Opi­ni­on and Mar­ke­ting Rese­arch (ESOMAR).
